sorry if this is out of sequence, but I'd like to give a public comment to ensure that measure j housing advocacy folks also pay attention and provide comment where necessary on services funding streams for permanent supportive housing. Those discussion are moving forward statewide on the healthcare side, and it's critical that housing voices organize and advocate for healthcare funding at levels appropriate for service providers to do the essential work of stabilizing newly housed individuals and their families.

I'm wondering if community folks are receiving stipends to be a part of the larger Measure J meetings and potentially these smaller committees. During the ATI process through our community partners we provided stipends to all folks that engaged in the community engagement process. It would be great if we can replicate that so that people can be supported for their involvement.

I support a stipend for community members. It's very difficult for impacted people to make all of these meetings and a stipend for their time would be really helpful in providing equity

The Covid-19 pandemic has severely impacted our existing infrastructure of permanent supportive housing, limiting its ability to continue to serve the poorest and sickest people who have no homes. We need to use Measure J funds to make sure the existing infrastructure can continue its work to serve our poorest neighbors in the county
